I really like the idea of the "experience" gift. I've been married 25 years and finding an original idea for a gift is pretty hard. My wife would enjoy race car driving (has many speeding tickets to prove -latest in NC a couple weeks ago (95 on 65). Isn't there a race car "experience?"
